Air Disinfection Efficiency
Disinfection performance varies based on the volume of air (cfm) passing through the diffuser.
The percentages below are the minimum single-pass virus deactivation rates for UV-C irradiation only, calculated by a third party company expert in UV irradiation. Click here to view the calculations report.
Air filtration has not been considered in these calculations. These values are based on the lamp’s weakest intensity after two years, when a replacement is due.
A third party lab also tested UV Diffusers’ air disinfection performance against SARS-CoV-2 to validate the calculated results. The measured results surpassed these values with a single pass SARS-CoV-2 deactivation rate of 99.949% while supplying 458 cfm of air. Click here to view the test report.
